My whole life has revolved around sewing and knitting. My grandmother was a seamstress and taught me her craft as a young girl. I have sewed my daughter’s Easter dresses. I have made pillows, table runners and window treatments for friends and knitted prayer shawls for ill loved ones. With each season and special occasion, my imagination comes alive and I need to create. All of this experience has made me ready to be the seamstress and décor consultant for Alterations by Amy.
I came to this country as a little girl looking to achieve the American dream. We started out in a duplex in Worcester with no furniture. We quickly established ourselves and moved to Holden where I grew up. I graduated from Worcester State University. I was the Manager of the Woodlands Tennis Club where I hired staff and ran all aspects of the club. From there, I was the International Administration Manager of Data Translation. My business background has prepared me to run Marketing and Sales for Alterations by Amy.
